Job Type: ContractMeredith Wild, #1 New York Times bestselling author of over 23 novels across multiple publishing houses, is seeking a dedicated and highly organized Brand Manager to oversee and execute her author marketing. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and strategic professional who is passionate about book marketing, digital engagement, and community-building in the romance industry.
The ideal candidate is already familiar with Meredith Wild’s books and readership and understands how to engage and expand her audience through marketing campaigns, social media, book launches, and reader-driven content. This role is hands-on and collaborative, requiring both strategic planning and execution to ensure the continued success of Meredith’s new releases.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing & Promotions: Organize and execute strategic marketing plans for book launches, backlist promotions, and seasonal sales.
Social Media Strategy & Management: Work closely with Meredith Wild to create and organize a content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Threaads. Schedule posts, track engagement, and optimize content for reach and engagement.
Newsletter & Community Engagement: Oversee and craft engaging weekly newsletters, ensuring high open rates and audience retention.
Patreon & Membership Oversight: Spearhead the author’s Patreon, designing membership tiers, developing content strategies, and supporting Meredith’s contributions to maintain the community.
Content Coordination: Act as the liaison between the author and designers for social media graphics and promotional assets. Ensure brand consistency across all materials.
Performance Tracking & Optimization: Monitor key marketing metrics, analyze what’s working, and suggest improvements to maximize reach and engagement.
Ideal Candidate:
Familiarity with Meredith Wild’s books and audience—understanding her brand, genre, and reader expectations.
Experience in brand management, digital marketing, publishing, or social media strategy (preferably within the book industry or creative spaces).
Strong understanding of book marketing, reader engagement, and digital branding for authors.
Familiarity with platforms like Patreon, Mailchimp, Canva, Instagram, TikTok, and Amazon marketing tools.
Exceptional organizational skills—able to juggle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities.
A passion for Meredith’s books and a deep understanding of bookish communities, reader trends, and engagement strategies.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively while also taking initiative and working independently.
